How to add tagging to your Windows Photo Gallery

Windows Photo Gallery is an online gallery, editing tool and photo-sharing platform. It is part Microsoft's Windows Essentials suite of applications. Up to January 10, 2017, the program was free to download from Windows Update. Since then, it has been removed by Microsoft.


Microsoft has created several products that fall under the family of programs known as Microsoft Office. Although they are quite different from each other, these products share many of the same features. Microsoft Windows Photo Gallery is one example of this suite. This software is part of Microsoft Office, but many people don't know this. This software suite can be used to manage and share photos with other users through the Microsoft Share Point online repository. This article will demonstrate how to unlock the software suite within Microsoft Word.

You can locate this file by searching for it in the "Tools" menu located at the top right corner of your word processing application. Once you locate the photo editing application, open it. You should see a folder called "Microsoft Photo Gallery", click on the link for that location in the left pane of your screen.

All the media files, images and videos you want to add to your Windows Photo Gallery can be imported. You may need to expand your window in order to view all your imported media files. This is necessary to be able locate the file you are looking.

Once you are done importing the files, save them as a PDF or Movie. You can do this by right clicking on the imported image file and then going to "Save as type". A new dialog box should open with three options: "MP4" "MOV", and "FMP". Click on "Movies", to add the video files that you are using. You can choose between "DVD Video" and "Videos".

Now you can edit your photos. To open the Windows Photo Gallery, double click the "Gallery" icon located at the desktop. Now you will see a list of all the items in your digital image library. You can now view all the images in your gallery in full-screen mode by clicking on the thumbnail.
